Remove

CAUTION

All breakers must be turned off when preparing the panel for work. If there are still breakers in the ON position, turn them OFF. This will prevent any panel backfeed from a circuit that is not being actively worked on.

Perform the Residential Panel Electrical Safety Protocol procedure to de-energize the panel.
Ensure all generation sources have been shut down properly. This includes Powerwalls, solar inverters, Powershare Wall Connectors, and any other non-Tesla equipment that can backfeed power.
Use a screwdriver to remove the conductors from the breaker lugs.
Remove the breaker from the load center by rocking it towards the side of the load center to separate it from the bussing, and then pull outwards.

Install

Replace the breaker by inserting the plastic foot into the clip and pressing the breaker onto the panel bussing.

Note
Confirm the breaker is the correct amperage and model for the load center installation and load connection. Additionally, confirm the breaker's connected wires are the correct gauge for the breaker according to the local electrical code.
Reinsert the wires into the breaker and tighten down the lug screws to secure them. Follow the torque guidance on the breaker provided by the manufacturer.

Note
If color coding is used to indicate phase, confirm the conductors are landed on the correct phase of the breaker.
When applicable, refer to the Residential Panel Electrical Safety Protocol to remove any installed guarding.
Replace the panel deadfront.
Perform the Residential Panel Electrical Safety Protocol procedure to re-energize the panel and turn on all breakers.
Restart any devices that were previously shut down.
